Wild Geo Nyanga is the vision of Tendai Masaya, an accomplished Geography educator and leader with nearly 30 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Zimbabwe, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and a Master of Arts in Leadership.

Tendai has taught at respected schools across Zimbabwe, including St Faith’s High School, Midlands Christian College, and Gateway High School, earning a reputation for excellence and innovation. Beyond teaching, he has significant experience in Cambridge examination administration.

In 2021, driven by his passion for outdoor learning, Tendai left formal teaching to establish WildGeo Nyanga, an outdoor education hub in the misty mountains of Nyanga. Today, WildGeo is a growing name in outdoor learning, offering programs that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and bring education to life outdoors.

His passion for outdoor learning drives experiential programs that inspire leadership and adventure. With nearly three decades of teaching Geography and academic leadership, he brings both expertise and vision to shaping WildGeo as a leading hub for outdoor education in Zimbabwe.

Chief Instructor Hippo

Adventure Tourism Specialist & Safety Expert

He is passionate about creating safe, adventurous experiences that build leadership, teamwork, and environmental appreciation. Currently pursuing a PhD in Adventure Tourism, his research focuses on safety and risk management in the industry.

Shingirai Sakarombe

Conservation Specialist

He is passionate about biodiversity and climate change, holding an MSc in Climate Change and Sustainable Development from the University of Cape Town. With a strong background in conservation and policy advocacy, he also promotes avitourism among young people in Zimbabwe.
